Terms of Service

1. Who we are

This website (ay7.in) and the applications operated on ay7.in and its subdomains (together, the “Services”) are operated by AY7 Technologies, a sole proprietorship owned by Abhishek Yadav, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.

2. Accounts

Creating an account. You may sign in using Google, Microsoft, GitHub, or an email address with a one-time code. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email account and identity provider secure. Tell us promptly at info@ay7.in if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

One person, one account. Do not share credentials or let others use your account. Do not create an account on someone else’s behalf without authority to do so.

Third-party sign-in. Signing in through Google, Microsoft or GitHub is also governed by that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for their services, and losing access to your provider account may mean losing access to ours.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services unlawfully, or to infringe anyone’s rights
• Upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Services or their infrastructure
• Access another user’s account or data without permission
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data from the Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code, except where law permits
• Resell or provide the Services to third parties without our written agreement
• Upload personal data you have no lawful basis to process

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, with notice where reasonably practicable.

Reporting content. To report content on the Services that you believe is unlawful or infringes your rights, email info@ay7.in with enough detail to identify it. Complaints are handled by our Grievance Officer, Abhishek Yadav, AY7 Technologies, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

4. Your data and content

You keep ownership of the data and content you submit to the Services.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Services to you. Nothing broader.

We do not sell your content, and we do not train machine-learning models on it. No feature we currently operate sends your content to a third-party model provider. If we introduce one, that provider will be contractually committed not to train on your content and will be named in the Privacy Policy before the feature goes live.

Your responsibility for third-party data. If the content you upload includes personal data about other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for meeting your own obligations to them. Where we process such data on your instructions, we act as a Data Processor and that processing is governed by our agreement with you.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Our intellectual property

The Services, their software, design, the AY7 name, logo and brand assets belong to AY7 Technologies. You may not copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works from them without written permission.

Ownership of work produced under a client engagement is determined by that engagement’s agreement, not by this page. Our standard position is that you own what we build for you, assigned on final payment.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Services available and working, but provide them “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services. Where we discontinue a service you actively use, we will give reasonable notice and a means to export your data where practicable.

7. Fees

The applications are currently provided free of charge. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before introducing fees, and you may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time before they take effect.

Payment for client engagements is separate from these terms and is governed by that engagement’s own agreement. Where a card or online payment is taken, it is processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card details.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Before you delete it you may export your data where an export function is provided. On deletion we erase your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services.

9. Enquiries and contact forms

Submitting a form or emailing us does not create a contract or client relationship, and does not oblige us to take on your project. Do not send confidential information through a contact form - ask for an NDA first.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AY7 Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or INR 10,000.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the Services, or content you upload.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the application or by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after that means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us regarding the Services.

No waiver. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may assign them to a successor of the business, on notice to you.

Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Survival. Sections 4, 5, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
